ATTUS Technologies Incorporates NACHA’s Upcoming IAT Compliance Rules Into Its OFAC Solution
ATTUS Technologies, Inc.
Charlotte, NC - 2/11/2009

ATTUS Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of cost effective and user friendly compliance solutions, today announced the general availability of IAT file processing for WatchDOG® Pro, the firm’s OFAC and multiple watch list screening solution. With this addition, WatchDOG® Pro will now have the ability to scan international ACH transactions (IATs) against OFAC and any other watch lists offered by ATTUS.

On September 18, 2009, new federal rules will go into effect requiring all international ACH transactions to be screened against the OFAC list. NACHA recommends that appropriate compliance software and updated processes be in place by March 20, 2009, to prepare for the regulatory deadline. With that in mind,” said Tom Fedell, president and CEO of ATTUS Technologies, Inc., “WatchDOG® Pro offers a cost effective solution for handling IAT OFAC compliance with a product that is easily integrated into your systems and is already trusted by financial institutions around the country to process over 1.5 billion transactions per year.”

All financial parties involved in IATs will be subject to NACHA’s new rules and will need to find a compatible and reliable way to fulfill their compliance requirements, which is why ATTUS incorporated the new IAT criteria into WatchDOG® Pro, the market leader in regulatory compliance solutions. “At ATTUS, we strive to keep clients ahead of the curve in meeting their regulatory compliance and by offering the ability to comply with NACHA’s new IAT rules now, we hope to allow financial institutions plenty of time to prepare for the September 18th effective date,” added Fedell

In addition to its advanced name-searching recognition capability, WatchDOG® Pro features a user friendly dashboard status screen and workflow functionality that clients can utilize when conducting all of their OFAC due diligence, including international ACH transactions.
