When it comes to social media platforms in highly regulated industries like ours, I’m a big fan of LinkedIn. It’s a great tool to help me stay in contact with business connections while taking part in groups that provide a wealth of information, support and advice. And now LinkedIn is becoming a powerful tool for brands to share news and information with their followers.
ATTUS Technologies was an early adopter of LinkedIn’s addition of brand status updates, giving companies the ability to offer news and updates to followers. ATTUS posted status updates the same day LinkedIn made the option available.
Companies can now directly communicate with followers, post links, videos and even receive recommendations from their customers. So this new LinkedIn feature is a great tool for ATTUS Technologies, and we’re hoping to connect with more and more people in our industry.
LinkedIn groups have been a wonderful way to keep up with the latest trends, seek advice or take part in conversations on regulatory compliance, the banking industry or risk management. I’m a fan of groups including AFT, the Association for Financial Technology, AML & Security Professionals, AML – Anti Money Laundering, the American Bankers Association (ABA), CompliancEX, the Information Security Community, The Information Security Network, NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association, Social Media for Credit Unions, the Software as a Service (SaaS) Group, the Risk Management Association (RMA) and the Charlotte Regional Technology Executives Council.
What are some of your favorite groups when it comes to regulatory compliance, risk management and social media in highly regulated industries? And please post links to your groups in our comments section.
